Alan Cumming

Alan Cumming explained in an interview with Advocate back in 2015 his sexuality has never been ‘black and white.’ Instead he describes it as ‘grey.’

‘I’m with a man, but I haven’t closed myself off to the fact that I’m still sexually attracted to women,’ Cumming added.

He also fights the biphobia by explaining: ‘It doesn’t matter if you’re married or not, or having sex with anyone or not. There are straight couples who don’t have sex. There are gay people who don’t have sex. But if you’re sexually attracted to both sexes, you’re bisexual.’

Alayna Fender

Alayna Fender is known by the name Miss Fender online. She regularly makes content about being bisexual.

Some of her most popular videos are part of her ‘I Don’t Bi It’ series. Each videos sees her sit down with other members of the LGBTI community to discuss different sexuality and gender-related topics. She explained to Mimp Magazine the idea for the series came about after she came out as bisexual.

Alayna continued: ‘I began to see a lot of myths and misconceptions about being bi, and bisexuality in general. I saw how real biphobia was, both in the straight and LGBTQ communities. When I was thinking about this one day, the idea came to me: “wouldn’t it be funny to make a video interviewing my partner, where I act as if I believe all these negative stereotypes.” And I Don’t Bi It was born!’

Alex G

Alex G is a musician and YouTuber. She came out as bisexual at the start of 2017. She explained in a video on National Coming Out day that Evan Rachel Wood inspired her to come out.

‘Seeing Evan Rachel Wood talk was the first time I had seen myself in someone else who claimed bisexual as their identity,’ Alex recalled. ‘And I was like, whoa, I guess it’s like, okay to say that I’m bisexual? That makes sense to me. This makes sense for who I am.’

Alia Shakwat

Alia Shawkat has been open about being bisexual after coming out in early 2017. The Arrested Development star recalled her mother asking her whether she was interested in ‘boys or girls.’

Her response? ‘I said I don’t know. Now I consider myself bisexual, and I think balancing my male and female energies has been a big part of me growing as an actor.’

Alyson Stoner

Hearts over the world ached for Alyson Stoner when she came out as a member of the LGBTI community in April 2018.

In an essay for Teen Vogue, the dancer and singer explained she had ‘internalized some of the harmful beliefs and misconceptions about LGBTQ people and identities.’ This made it harder for her to embrace her identity.

Alyson is now proudly out, and says she is attracted to ‘men, women, and people who identify in other ways.’

Amber Heard

While encouraging people to ‘resist labels,’ actress Amber Heard is a part of our beautiful community.

The actress doesn’t label herself ‘one way or another’ but says she has had ‘successful relationships’ with both men and women.

Amber Rose

Amber Rose addressed her sexuality back in 2009. She was dating Kanye West at the time.

During an interview with Complex Magazine, the model explained: ‘I’m extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man. I’m not into bestiality, but as far as humans go, I definitely find beauty in everybody.’

Andy Dick

Andy Dick is an American comedian and actor. He even appeared in an episode of Sense8.

He’s been very clear about his sexuality since he first spoke about it in an interview in 2006. Speaking to Washington Post, he stated plainly: ‘Just because I’ve been with guys, and I’m bi, doesn’t mean I’m gay.’

Andy Mientus

Actor Andy Mientus has a pretty impressive list of theatre shows under his belt – Spring Awakening, Rent, Les Mis, Spring Awakening again, then Wicked.

He took to Instagram during Bi Week in September 2016 and spoke about how he tries to be visible ‘all the time just be being true to who I am openly.’ The post goes on to question:  ‘We now talk about LGBT+ issues constantly but how often do we really consider the B in there?’

Angelina Jolie

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has always been an out and proud bisexual woman. When asked by Barbara Walters in 2003 if she was bisexual, her immediate answer was ‘Of course.’

Angelina continued: ‘If I fell in love with a woman tomorrow, would I feel that it’s okay to want to kiss and touch her? If I fell in love with her? Absolutely! Yes!’

Anna Paquin

True Blood star Anna Paquin came out as bisexual way back in 2010. She was taking in a public service announcement video for the Give A Damn equal rights campaign.

Anna’s contribution to the campaign video saw her state to camera: ‘I’m Anna Paquin. I’m bisexual and I give a damn.’

Anne-Marie

UK singing sensation Anne-Marie came out to the public as bisexual in April 2018. In an interview with Line Of Best Fit, the singer said she ‘never felt the need to tell anyone’ that she was bi.

She went on to clarify: ‘I don’t feel like I am. I just feel like I’m attracted to who I like. I honestly feel like everyone is like that.’

Anthony Bowens

Pro wrester Anthony Bowens came out as bisexual in March 2017.

After his YouTuber boyfriend posted a video of the pair, he wrote an op ed for OutSports where he clarified: ‘Just wanted to let everyone know I’m bisexual. I look forward to changing perceptions and breaking stereotypes as I continue on my journey.’

Ash Hardell

YouTuber Ash Hardell identifies as queer. They has made videos in the past looking at the stigma and misconceptions around bisexuality.

They explained in their video ‘(some) Bisexuals Explain Dating (some) Lesbians‘ that they are a ‘bi/pan/queer/multisexual person.’

Asia Kate Dillon

You may recognize Asia Kate Dillon from their role as Brandy in Orange Is The New Black, or Taylor in Billions. When asked whether understanding their gender changed who they’re attracted to, Asia firmly said: ‘No, not at all.’

They went on to clarify: ‘From the time I came to understand sex and sexual orientation, and all of that, I’ve identified as pansexual and I’ve always felt like I had the spiritual, emotional, physical capability of being attracted to any gender.’

Aubrey Plaza

Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza came out as bisexual in July 2016.

The Advocate asked her in an interview if women often come onto her. The actress responded that they do.

‘I know I have an androgynous thing going on, and there’s something masculine about my energy. Girls are into me — that’s no secret. Hey, I’m into them too. I fall in love with girls and guys. I can’t help it,’ Aubrey continued.

Azealia Banks

Opinion-dividing rapper Azealia Banks came out as bisexual back in 2012 during an interview with Rolling Stone.

She explained she of course had a ‘special affection’ for her gay fans.

‘I mean, I’m bisexual, so it makes sense. But I don’t want to be that girl who says all gays necessarily hang out together, of course!’ The rapper added. I have people say to me, “Oh wow, my friend is gay, too,” and I’m like, “Yeah, so?”

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha came out as interested in men and women after appearing on Rita Ora’s controversial track Girls.

In an interview for the Dan Wootton podcast, she explained: ‘I just like go with the flow. At the end of the day love is love and I don’t think it should be labelled any which way. I’ve never looked at it like that in my life. It’s whether someone makes you feel something in your tummy or not.’

‘I think that’s how my parents raised me, everyone’s equal and you can just love who you want and be fluid. And then sometimes when you travel around the world you see certain things about how people view sexuality and it sucks.’

Bella Thorne

Ex Disney star Bella Thorne came out back in 2016. She was 18 at the time.

After pictures of her kissing another woman circulated the internet, one fan asked if she was bisexual. The actress simply responded with a ‘yes.’

Billie Joe Armstrong

Green Day frontman Billie Joe said way back in the 90s he was bisexual, which he described as ‘a beautiful thing.’

But then in 2010, he backtracked slightly during an interview with Out. Billie Joe told them: ‘I don’t really classify myself as anything. And when it comes to sex, there are parts of me that are very shy and conservative. I want to respect my wife. My wife Googled “Billie Joe Armstrong bisexual” [and] she’s like, “Yeah, there are about 20 pictures of you kissing different guys.”‘

Brendan Urie

Brendan Urie talked about being interested in both men and women back in 2013, but he never said what he identified at.

A few years later, in 2018, he came out as pansexual. He told Paper: ‘I guess you could qualify me as pansexual because I really don’t care.’

Caitlin Stasey

Caitlyn Stasey has referred to herself in a few different ways – a lesbian with a male partner, fluid and pansexual.

While it may not be clear how she identifies, Caitlyn is known to date and be interested more than just one gender.

Cara Delevinge

Model and actress Cara Delevigne has never been shy about dating men and women. The media has happily documented her dating history, from the likes of Jake Bugg to Michelle Rodriguez to St Vincent. It wasn’t until late 2014 and early 2015 she started to publicly talk about her sexuality.

Cara told Vogue ‘it took me a long time to accept the idea’ that she was attracted to women. Then in 2017, she spoke out about how frustrated she gets when people assume she is gay. In an interview with Glamour, she recalled : ‘Once I spoke about my sexual fluidity, people were like, “So you’re gay.” And I’m like, “No, I’m not gay.”‘

Carrie Brownstein

Actress and singer Carrie Brownstein was sadly outed when a news outlet reported on her having previously dated one of her bandmates. At that point she hadn’t even spoken about being interested in women, let alone dating one.

After that, Carrie was reported as identifying as gay but then went on record to go against that. She explained in 2010: ‘It’s weird, because no one’s actually ever asked me. People just always assume, like, you’re this or that. It’s like, “OK. I’m bisexual. Just ask.”‘

Christine and the Queens

French singer Héloïse Letissier is better known by her stage name Christine and the Queens. They’ve been open about identifying as pansexual since 2014.

In a 2016 interview the BBC she explained that for her, identifying as pansexual means that she ‘can fall in love with someone regardless of their gender, regardless of how they define themselves.’

Clive Davis

Music industry legend Clive Davis revealed in his 2013 memoir The Soundtrack of my Life that he identifies bisexual.

Speaking to Katie Couric on her talk show, Davis said: ‘I’m still attracted to women, you don’t have to be only one thing or another. For me, it’s the person.’

Connor Manning

YouTuber Connor Manning came out as bisexual back in March of 2014. In a video, they explained at the time while they are ‘predominantly physically drawn to women’ they are also ‘physically drawn to men.’

Ever since, they have continued to regularly talk about bisexual issues and topics on their channel.

Courtney Act

Courtney Act is a well-known drag queen all over the world. She identifies as pansexual.

The star was even booked to front the UK’s first-ever TV show focusing exclusively on bisexual dating.

Cynthia Nixon

Actress and politician Cynthia Nixon first acknowledged her sexuality in 2008 when the press reported on her dating a woman. At the time she explained: ‘I don’t feel there was a hidden part of my sexuality that I wasn’t aware of. I’d been with men all my life, and I’d never fallen in love with a woman. But when I did, it didn’t seem so strange. I’m just a woman in love with another woman.’

Then in 2012, she clarified that she identifies as bisexual. She said in an interview with Daily Beast: ‘I don’t pull out the “bisexual” word because nobody likes the bisexuals.’

Daniel Newman

When The Walking Dead actor Daniel Newman first came out in early 2017, it was wildly misreported he had come out as gay.

He later cleared things up in an interview with Advocate. Daniel explained: ‘I had just told the reporter about being bisexual and having girlfriends and things like that. She was like, “Oh, cool. Are you in a relationship?” And I was like, “Yeah, I have an incredible boyfriend.” And she’s like, “Oh, cool. It’s awesome you came out as gay.”‘

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato came out in 2017. Her documentary Simply Complicated was released on 17 October.

In the documentary, the singer explains she is on exclusive dating app Raya with her settings open to men and women. Demi said: ‘I am on the dating app with both guys and girls. I am open to human connection. So whether that’s through a male or female, it doesn’t matter to me.’

Dodie

Musician and YouTuber Dodie Clark came out as bisexual in a video in May 2016. The singer then went on to write a coming out song in which she sings about having  ‘a heart that could love plural genders.’

Dove Cameron

Disney actress Dove Cameron came out as bisexual super subtly in early 2017. After breaking off her engagement with her boyfriend at the time, she posted a picture of her kissing female friend Kiersey Clemons. Following that, a fan sent her two tweets – One read ‘like this if gay’ and the other read ‘like this if bisexual.’

Surprise – Dove liked the one that asked if she was bisexual.

Drew Barrymore

Actress Drew Barrymore spoke about her sexuality in 2003. She explained in July that year: ‘Do I like women sexually? Yeah, I do. Totally. I have always considered myself bisexual.’

The starlet continued: ‘I love a woman’s body. I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful. Being with a woman is like exploring your own body, but through someone else.’

Eva Gutowski

Popular YouTuber Eva Gutowski is most commonly known by her YouTube channel title, MyLifeAsEva. She came out as bisexual in a series of tweets in August 2016.

Her first tweet stated that ‘just because you haven’t dated someone of the same sex does not mean you can’t be taken seriously as a bisexual.’ The online creator then went on to explain she has been ‘fall in love with someone, no matter who they end up being’ since she was 12.

The final of the series of five tweets read: ‘Accepting yourself as being bisexual is not pledging to be “different”. It’s pledging to be honest.’

Evan Rachel Wood

Hollywood star Evan Rachel Wood came out as bisexual in early 2011. She explained candidly in an interview she’s ‘always into very androgynous things. guys, girls.’ When asked if she dates women, in that same Esquire interview,  the actress proudly announced ‘yes.’

She reminisced about growing up in an interview with Gay Star News later in 2014. Evan explained: ‘I remember growing up not knowing it [bisexuality] was a thing, feeling very confused, feeling very alone.’

Ezra Miller

Ezra Miller is a much loved US actor. He came out as queer in 2012 when he was 19. He then explained in 2013 that he uses the word queer because it ‘feels the most open and inclusive.’

The actor added: ‘I think there are a lot of people who fall on this open spectrum of sexuality. My friends and I use that word as an all-encompassing banner and for every human being. There should be an ongoing question and investigation of who you love and everything that’s involved with that very tricky and beautiful thing.’

Fergie

Fergie revealed to UK newspaper The Sun back in 2009 that while she had never had a steady girlfriend she had ‘experimented definitely.’

She later explained to The Advocate that she has always been ‘very open and honest about that from the very beginning, and everyone was acting like it was some new trend.’

Frank Ocean

American singer, songwriter and rapper Frank Ocean came out as bisexual back in 2012. He came out in a text document he typed on a ‘plane between New Orleans and Los Angeles’ and posted to his Tumblr account.

He explains in the post: ‘4 summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost, and on the days we were together, time would glide.

‘Most of the time I’d see him, and his smile. I’d hear his conversation and his silence…until it was time to sleep. Sleep I would often share with him. By the time I realized I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless.’

Gabriella Lindley

YouTube Beauty Guru Gabriella Lindley goes by the name velvetgh0st online.

She came out as bisexual in May 2016.

Gaby Dunn

In an piece for Women’s Health Mag she explained: ‘I use either label [bi and pan] interchangeably. Some people believe “bi” implies a gender binary and that “pan” is more inclusive, but I’m not convinced. I’ve been “bi” in my own head for about 12 years so changing the label seems complicated now.’

Gillian Anderson

Gillian Anderson is most famously known for her role in popular TV series The X Files. She came out as bisexual in 2012.

In a 2018 interview with The Times she commented on how despite her current relationship with a man she ‘could be in a relationship with a woman next year.’

Halsey

Singing sensation Halsey has been open about identifying as bisexual since she rose to fame in 2015. She spoke at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards about her battle to become a ‘better representative of the LGBT community.’

The singer explained: ‘I’m a young, bisexual woman, and I’ve spent a large part of my life trying to validate myself — to my friends, to my family, to myself — trying to prove that who I love and how I feel is not a phase; it’s not part of some confusion that’s going to change or could be manipulated. So I tried really hard to find the courage this year to write female pronouns into my music.’

Indy Yelich

Lorde’s sister Indy Yelich-O’Connor came out as bisexual on Twitter in May 2018.

The young poet wrote on Twitter: ‘plot twist (I like boys and girls)’

Ireland Baldwin

Model Ireland Baldwin has never publicly acknowledged how she identifies.

But her previous relationships with people of all genders have been documented by the press.

Jake Edwards

Jake Edwards is a UK based YouTuber. Their YouTube channel description introduces them as a ‘non-binary, bisexual, panromantic human who sometimes sings songs and talks about their life.’

Janelle Monáe

Music sensation Janelle Monáe came out publicly as pansexual in April 2018.

She explained in an interview with Rolling Stone that she originally identified as bisexual, ‘but then later I read about pansexuality and was like, “Oh, these are things that I identify with too.” I’m open to learning more about who I am.’

Jason Mraz

There was a lot of controversy around the coming out of singer Jason Mraz. After explaining that he had experiences with men while being married to his wife, he identified with the term ‘two spirit.’

The term most often describes indigenous people who occupy traditional third-gender ceremonial roles. It is not interchangeable with describing queer indigenous people, as it is more about the spirituality and ceremony.

Jazz Jennings

Trans activist and YouTuber Jazz Jennings came out as pansexual in early 2018.

She explained in a tweet she is ‘attracted to people at a level that surpasses gender identity or sexual orientation.’ She loves people ‘for their souls and internal beauty.’

Jess Glynne

While singer Jess Glynne doesn’t like to label her sexuality, she has spoken about dating men and women.

In an interview with Fabulous magazine, she explained: ‘My family and my friends are all really cool and I never have to justify who I am to anybody. I’m content with whoever it is that I choose to be with. Be that a man or a woman.’

Joe Lycett

UK comedian Joe Lycett ‘came out as gay in sixth form and now describes himself as bisexual on stage.’

Though he describes himself as bisexual on stage, Joe explained in an interview with iNews that he does this because it’s easier for people to understand. But, he doesn’t actually ‘quite think it’s that.’ He actually identifies as pansexual.

Kehlani

Singer Kehlani has always been open about her attraction to more than one gender. In April 2018 though, she explained that she felt the label of gay ‘always insisted there was still a line drawn as to which ‘label’ of human I was attracted when I really jus be walking around thinking ERRYBODY FINE.’

Kehlani now identifies as queer.

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer’s music video for 2015 single I Don’t Belong To You saw her leave her boyfriend to meet another woman to hook up. This lead to much speculation about her sexuality. She then came out and explained her sexuality is fluid.

‘I’m making the rules for myself, and I don’t have to be stuck down to one label,’ Keke told People magazine. ‘I don’t feel the need to define nothin’ to nobody, because I’m always changing. Why say that I’m this or that when I might not be tomorrow?’

Keiynan Lonsdale

Actor and singer Keiynan Lonsdale had not originally planned to come out ‘until I was like in my 80s. Until then I’d just live a nice sad life.’ He does not regret coming out as queer in mid-2017 though. The actor called the process a ‘very welcoming’ and ‘wonderful’ experience.

Kesha

Kesha is the pop star we all know and love.

She told Out magazine in 2012: ‘I wouldn’t say I’m gay or straight -– I don’t like labeling things anyway. I just like people.’

Kiersey Clemons

Actress Kiersey Clemons had played a number of LGBTI characters on our screens before coming out queer earlier this year. In an interview with INTO, she explained: ‘I was introduced to everyone in Dope playing a queer person, so I guess it just worked out that way.’

After starring in Dope as a queer female, she attended Sundance Festival aged 19. She remembers being asked regularly if she was gay or straight. The actress continued: ‘I was getting asked in the media about my sexuality before I had even like thought about having to like tell anybody anything like that. ‘

Kristanna Loken

Kristanna Loken appeared on our screens in 2006 when starring in Terminator 3. She also appeared in TV show The L Word from 2007 to 2008.

The actress addressed her sexuality in March 2006. She explained she connects with a person’s aura and energy. In the interview with Curve magazine, Kristanna continued: ‘I have dated and have had sex with men and women and have to say that the relationships I have had with certain women have been much more fulfilling, sexually and emotionally, than those with certain men.’

Kristen Stewart

It was actually Kristen Stewart’s mom who first talked about her sexuality to the public. In a 2015 interview, Jules Stewart said:  ‘I accept my daughter loves women and men. It’s OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers.’

The following year, the actress herself opened up about dating a woman after previously dating Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

Then it 2017, Kristen explained in an interview: ‘You’re not confused if you’re bisexual. It’s not confusing at all. For me, it’s quite the opposite.’

Lady Gaga

This LGBTI icon has been open and vocal about identifying as bisexual since the early days of her career.

Poker Face was Lady Gaga’s second single, released in 2008. She explained in 2014 that the song was actually about a time when she was ‘making love to this guy’ but she was ‘thinking about chicks.’

Lauren Jauregui

Lauren Jauregui is a singer, and was a member of popular group Fifth Harmony until they announced their indefinite hiatus in March 2018.

She came out as bisexual in 2016. Lauren penned a letter to Trump voters, asking them to not vote for him. In the letter, she writes: ‘I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it.’

Lights

Canadian singer Lights opened up in December 2017 about discovering her bisexuality through her music. The artist, real name, Valerie Anne Poxleitner, adapted her album Skin & Earth into a six-part comic book series.

She explained the main character En in the dystopian series is ‘a reflection of my personality.’ Lights described the character as ‘kind of a goof, this totally flawed person with issues, and she’s bisexual.’

Then the singer added: ‘It made me realize that about myself, too. If I met the right girl, I could easily fall in love. Love is so much more than gender: You fall in love with a person.’

Lily-Rose Depp

Model Lily-Rose Depp has come out as sexually fluid in 2015.

The 16-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis made the revelation by posing for the Self Evident Project – ‘a photographic document of 10,000 people in the USA that identify as anything other than 100% straight.’

‘I’m so proud of my baby girl @lilyrose_depp,’ project founder iO Tillett Wright wrote on Instagram.

‘She decided she wanted to be in @selfevidentproject because she falls somewhere on the vast spectrum, and I couldn’t be happier to welcome her to the family. She’s a tiny gem of a good human.’

Lizzy Marvelly

Singer, songwriter and journalist Lizzie Marvelly came out as bisexual after being nominated for a  Celebrity Ally Award.

She explained that while she was honored to be nominated, she would not be able to accept the award as she identifies as bisexual. Part of the reason she had not previously come out was because she did not know whether she could deal with ‘the scrutiny of having my sexuality highlighted in the media.’

Mara Wilson

Writer and performer Mara Wilson,  who was a child star in films like Matilda,  came out as a member of the LGBTI community in 2016 following the Pulse nightclub attack in Orlando.

The actress explained that she finds comfort in numbers and is a 2 on the Kinsey scale. For those unfamiliar, it’s a scale that goes from zero – exclusively heterosexual – to six – exclusively homosexual.

After more questions, she went on to state that she uses the labels bisexual or queer.

Margaret Cho

Margaret Cho is a comedian, and regularly talks about being part of the LGBTI community.

The star has used the terms bisexual, pansexual and queer when referring to her sexuality.

Megan Fox

Hollywood actress Megan Fox opened up about her sexuality back in 2009.

She told Esquire magazine that she feels everyone is born bisexual and then  ‘they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society.’

Megan says she has ‘no question’ in her mind about being bisexual.

Melanie Murphy

Melanie Murphy is an Irish YouTuber who talks a lot about bisexuality on her channel. She uses her platform to help dispel myths and misconceptions about bisexuality and those who identify as bisexual.

Michael Stipe

Michael Stipe was the lead singer of alternative rock group R.E.M until they broke up in 2011.

Despite interviews regularly asking if he identifies as gay, Michael has always clarified that he is attracted to men and women.

He explained in a 2014 interview with Butt Magazine that he identifies as queer because ‘it’s more inclusive.’

Michelle Rodriguez

Hollywood actress Michelle Rodriguez doesn’t talk regularly about her sexuality but has never hidden the fact that she dates more than one gender.

She explained to Entertainment Weekly in 2013: ‘I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too fucking curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.’

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus came out to her mom when she was just 14. She recalled in an interview with PAPER telling her mother that she admires women ‘in a different way.’ When her mother asked what she meant, she told her mom: ‘I love them like I love boys.’

The singer and actress explained in 2014 that she identifies as pansexual. Miley told PAPER: ‘I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.’

Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins is a popular Australian singer and songwriter. She first referred to herself in October 2007 as being a ‘not-so-straight’ girl.

The very next month, she clarified: ‘I’ve never felt comfortable with labeling or categorizing human beings. However if we’re going to pigeonhole me, I’ve been in relationships with both men and women so I guess I fall most easily under the category “Bisexual”.

Monica Raymund

Monica Raymund came out publicly as bisexual on Twitter in 2014. She’s known for starring in hit US series Chicago Fire. 

She added that everyone was ‘late to the party’ as she had been out privately for 10 years.

Natasha Negovanlis

Natasha Negovanlis is a Canadian actress, singer and writer. She’s best known for playing Carmilla Karnstein in the web series Carmilla. The show has a large LGBTI following.

The actress has spoken out regularly about the need for better LGBTI representation in the media. She identifies as queer or pansexual.

Neonfiona

Australian YouTuber Fiona regularly talks online about identifying as bisexual, and covers all sorts of bi topics on her YouTube channel.

In a 2018 video titled ‘How I Knew I Was Bisexual‘, she recalls having strong crushes on women but brushing them aside because she still believed she was straight.

Nico Tortorella

Nico Tortorella has regularly spoken about identifying as sexually fluid since coming out publicly in 2016.

The actor explained at the time: ‘I’ve never been in any sort of closet. I was never really in the house. I think it’s one thing to hide and it’s one thing to come out of the closet in a public statement. But I’ve always done me and never been shy and have been vocal about it.’

He added that his ‘ability’ to love someone is not dependent on what is ‘between [their] legs.’

Olivia Thirlby

Olivia Thirlby has never hidden her sexuality but spoke about it being bisexual for the first time in 2011.

Then she spoke in 2012 about the importance of visibility. The actress told InStyle Magazine: ‘It’s really important for people to be truthful about who they are and fight for equality. We need to help the world usher itself into the next phase.’

Paris-Michael Jackson

Paris Jackson has always been open about being interested in people regardless on gender.

She confirmed she was bisexual though on Instagram in July 2018. During a fan Q&A she was asked i if she was bi. In response, Paris said: ‘That’s what you guys call it so I guess but who needs labels.’

Peter Kingston

Performer and YouTuber Peter Kingston (better known as Petesjams) came out during Pride Month last year. At the end of June 2017, he posted a video titled ‘Proud to be me’ in which he discussed his sexuality for the first time online.

Peter explained that ‘the easiest way of putting it’ is that he is bisexual, but isn’t ‘limited to that’ so also uses pansexual.

RJ Aguiar

Popular YouTube star  RJ Aguiar came out as bisexual in 2014 after being repeatedly mislabelled gay. In the video he says: ‘Let me just state this once clearly and unambiguously for the record that yes, I am a bisexual male.’

He went on to explain in an interview with Advocate that he ‘didn’t really come out as bi to anyone else.’

RJ continued: ‘I just introduced all of my friends to Will (his boyfriend) and let them draw their own conclusions. It wasn’t until viewers started asking me about my sexuality and my personal coming out journey that I felt compelled to start talking about it online.’

Raúl Esparza

Law & Order: SVU star Raúl Esparza came out as bisexual in 2006 in an interview with The New York Times. He recalled the time in his life when he was figuring out his sexuality as ‘very complicated.’

Rita Ora

Rita Ora came out as bisexual in early 2018 after releasing a song which many labelled biphobic.

She explained her track Girls was ‘written to represent my truth and is an accurate account of a very real and honest experience in my life.’

Roes

Roes (previously known as Angel Haze) has been open about their sexuality since the start of their career.

They identify as pansexual.

Rosie Spaughton

Rosie is half of popular YouTube couple Rose and Rosie. She has always been open online about identifying as bisexual.

Rowan Blanchard

Young actress Rowan Blanchard can be found on the Disney Channel starring in Girl Meets World. She came out as queer when she was just 14.

Rowan explained in a Tweet: ‘In my life—only ever liked boys. However I personally don’t wanna label myself as straight, gay or whateva so I am not gonna give myself labels to stick with—just existing;)’

Sammy Paul

YouTuber Sammy Paul casually came out as bisexual in early 2016. He spoke about his sexuality and the kind of people he was attracted to in a tweet, and later replied saying: ‘Does this count as ‘coming out’? I dunno, I don’t really care. I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by very accepting friends. No biggie.’

Sara Ramirez

Actress Sara Ramirez has been a vocal bisexual activist since she came out in 2016. She addressed her sexuality  in a speech at the 2016 True Colors Fund’s 40 to None Summit in Los Angeles.

In the speech, she said: ‘Because of the intersections that exist in my own life: Woman, multi-racial woman, woman of color, queer, bisexual, Mexican-Irish American immigrant, and raised by families heavily rooted in Catholicism on both my Mexican & Irish sides, I am deeply, deeply invested in projects that allow our youth’s voices to be heard.’

Sarah Paulson

Sarah Paulson says she accidentally outed herself in 2005. She said she’d never kept her dating life a secret, but no one cared until she was spotted kissing a woman. The woman was girlfriend at the time Broadway actress Cherry Jones.

In an interview with NOTOFU, Sarah explained: ‘She won a Tony Award, I kissed her, and all of a sudden I was outed. I didn’t really think about it in that way at the time — I was just doing what one would do when a person they love has just won a big fat acting prize.’

The actress has spoken about her attractions to men and women. She told PrideSource in 2015: ‘I can meet a man tomorrow and fall in love with him and marry him and I wouldn’t discount any of the experiences that I’ve had with women, or vice versa.’

Shailene Woodley

Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars star Shailene Woodley opened up about her sexuality back in 2014. During an interview with Hollywood Reporter, she explained she falls in love with people ‘based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are.’

Shane Dawson

Shane Dawson is a popular US YouTuber with over 8 million subscribers. In 2015, he posted an emotional 15 minute-long video in which he came out as bisexual.

In the video he explains: ‘This is something I’ve come to the conclusion through therapy and from being honest with myself. I am bisexual.’

Shannon Purser

Riverdale and Stranger Things actress Shannon Purser came out as bisexual in April 2017.

She explained that, at the time, she had only very recently come out to friends and family and was ‘very very new’ to the community.

Sia

Popular singer Sia came out back in 2008. At the time, she was uncertain about talking about her sexuality.

Then in 2013, the singer reiterated with a tweet: ‘I’m queer. I don’t really identify as a lesbian because I’ve dated predominantly men. But I’ve certainly dated women.’

Snooki

American TV personality and Jersey Shore cast member came out as bisexual in a 2012 Huffington Post interview. The star explained she has had previous experiences with women and considers herself to be bi.

Soko

French singer SoKo first spoke about her sexuality in French press back in 2012. She explained to Liberation: ‘In my life, I have had as many love stories with girls as with boys. I am bisexual.’

She explained again to W Magazine in 2016 that when it comes to her sexuality she doesn’t really care about gender.

Stephanie Beatriz

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star came out as bisexual in 2016.

She came out by casually sharing her friend Aubrey Plaza’s coming out article. Beatriz agreed with Plaza’s comments on loving both men and women.

Tana Mongeau

YouTube star and singer Tana Mongeau has never publicly spoken about her sexuality, or stated how she defines.

But we know that she previously dated fellow YouTuber Jay Alvarrez and is now dating actress Bella Thorne.

Taylor Behnke

Taylor Behnke is another bisexual YouTuber who uses her platform to talk about all sorts of bisexual topics.

In Pride Month this year she shared a video of attending Brooklyn Pride for the first time.

Taylor Bennett

Hip-Hop artist Taylor Bennett, who’s the younger brother of Chance the Rapper, came out as bisexual in a series of tweets in January 2017.

He came out the day before his 21st birthday because ‘moving into the next year’ he wanted to ‘ be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues.’

Tessa Thompson

Thor: Ragnarok actress Tessa Thompson addressed her sexuality in June 2018.

She stated in an interview with PORTEREdit that she is ‘attracted to men and also to women.’

Vanessa Carlton

Singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton timed her coming out perfectly because she did it on stage at Nashville Pride in 2010. The singer announced on stage: ‘I’ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman.’

Zelda Williams

Actress Zelda Williams has long been open about her sexuality. She spoke about her reasons for being vocal about her sexuality on Chelsea Handler’s self-titled Netflix show.

Zelda explained: ‘I think it’s everyone’s choice in how open they want to be or not. For me, there’s a lot of erasure of bisexuality. I think a lot of people — especially in women — they tend to have really bad responses to it. They think you can’t have a monogamous relationship. By the way, it doesn’t really matter if you want to be not-monogamous or not. Your sexuality doesn’t really dictate that. Being bisexual doesn’t mean I’m suddenly willy-nilly running around.’

Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana has explained that while she’s only dated men so far in her life, she would be open to dating a woman.

She added: ‘If I look at beauty, I’m going to admire and love beauty whether it comes in the form of a masculine essence or in the form of a feminine essence. Beauty is just beauty.’
