Kesha is a motherfucking woman

Kesha has released the video for her second new single of her comeback, and this time she’s rocking out in a drag bar.

The pop star has not forgotten about her LGBTI fans, in her empowerment single Woman.

‘I’m a motherfucking woman, baby alright/I don’t need a man to be holding me too tight,’ she sings in the chorus.

Joined by the Dap-Kings Horns, the star dances and sings in Oddity Bar – a country and drag bar in Delaware.

‘It was such a beautiful experience to write such a strong female empowerment song with two men … because it reinforces how supportive men can be of women AND feminism,’ Kesha wrote in an essay for Rolling Stones.

‘That day was one of the best writing sessions of my life. It was pure raw joy. I have never had such a wonderful and hilarious work day as I did that day. It was one of those days I’ll remember forever, because it brought me back to why I wanted to ever start making music.’

Kesha’s album Rainbow will be released on 11 August.
