PALM SPRINGS, CA — A newly built apartment community in Palm Springs designed for active LGBTQ residents 55 and older is set to celebrate its grand opening.
Living Out Palm Springs (1122 East Tahquitz Canyon Way) will hold a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Jan. 23 to celebrate the new community.
“Created for active LGBTQ 55+ adults and their allies, Living Out is a community designed to provide a beautiful, welcoming, safe, and inclusive living experience that celebrates the vibrancy of living authentically as an LGBTQ person,” according to the Living Out website. “In short, Living Out is the home you have always wanted in the community every LGBTQ person deserves.”
The three-story community on 9 acres features over 100 one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from approximately 1,100 square feet to over 1,800 square feet.
Besides touting safety and inclusivity, Living Out boasts a list of amenities for “resort-style living,” including an onsite restaurant and bar, fitness center, massage studio, salon, screening room, rec center, pools, dog parks, pet supply store and overnight pet hotel, bocce ball court, putting green and extensive parking.
