Sunday, June 2Drag Queen Karaoke celebrating Youth Sunday: We Are Family! — on the lawn after the 10:00 a.m. service.– Join the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles for the Annual Garden Party at 2:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 9– Long time All Saints staffer and LGBTQ activist the Reverend Canon Susan Russell (she/ her) preaches at 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. In addition to her pastoral role here at All Saints, Susan currently serves as the Chair of the Episcopal Church’s Task Force on LGBTQ Inclusion and is the bishop’s liaison to the diocesan LGBTQ ministry as the Canon for Engagement.– “Beyond Inclusion to Celebration of God’s LGBTQ+” in the Forum at 9:00 a.m. Join Susan Russell, Jim White and Rick Thyne as they tell the story of the ongoing All Saints journey beyond inclusion to celebration of God’s LGBTQ+ beloved, in a multi-media presentation that engages our past and in-person conversation imagining our future.– Join the festive fun as the Episcopal Diocesan of Los Angeles marches in LA Pride Parade in Hollywood at 11:00 a.m.

Sunday, June 16Thomas Diaz (he/him) preaches at 7:30 a.m.– In the Forum at 9:00 a.m. ‘Born This Way’ a conversation with filmmaker Shaun Kadlec. Shaun Kadlec began his documentary filmmaking practice during a Fulbright fellowship in Sri Lanka where he studied peace and reconciliation through the arts. He spent many years making short-form documentaries and commercials around the world. This led to directing his feature-length documentary debut, BORN THIS WAY, a verité portrait of the LGBTQ+ community in Cameroon. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and received many honors, including the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary at Outfest.– We welcome Pastor Lucia Chappelle (she/ her) in the pulpit at the 10:00 a.m. service. Lucia services as the Minister of Social Justice at Founders Metropolitan Community Church of Los Angeles.– Then join us on the lawn after the service for a festive Pride Flags Event.

Sunday, June 23– Preacher Jonathan Quinn (they/ them) will preach at 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. Jonathan is a convener of the All Saints LGBTQ+ Ministry and is in the discernment process for ordained ministry. They hold degrees in biblical studies, philosophy of religion, and historical theology, and is a drag queen, comedian, theologian, and substitute teacher.– At 9:00 a.m. the Forum explores “My Drag Mom Was a Dead Greek Monk? A conversation about how progressive values and orthodox doctrines can fit together” with Jonathan Quinn.

Sunday, June 30– Pride Month concludes with Thomas Diaz (he/ him) preaching at 7:30 & 10:00 a.m. In addition to serving as All Saints’ Director of Connections & Care, Thomas is the staff convener of our All Saints LGBTQ ministry and the Chair of the Diocese of Los Angeles Commission on LGBTQ+ Ministry. He also served on the Episcopal Church’s Joint Nominating Committee for our next Presiding Bishop and as a Deputy to General Convention.– A conversation with LA CADA in the Forum at 9:00 a.m.– Join us on the lawn after the 10:00 a.m. service for DRAG BINGO.– The Interfaith Pride Service at 5:00 p.m. concludes our Pride Month events.
