Never underestimate the desirability of someone who is handy around the house – just ask Tom Daley.
The Olympic diver has revealed the thing he loves most about husband Dustin Lance Black, and it involves his DIY skills and green thumb.
Indeed, in his latest ‘Ask TD’ YouTube video, Tom paints a picture of domestic bliss since the couple married last year.
‘One thing I do love about Lance is that if he has an idea, no matter how crazy or wild, he does it,’ says the dad-to-be.
‘Whether that be to create and build shelves, whether that be to go and get paint and paint a living room, whether that be going to the garden center and buying enough soil and plants to fill the whole roof. He’s crazy.’
Sounds like his nesting instinct is kicking in!

At this point, Dustin interjects: ‘Whether that be flying across a country and ocean to date you and marry you. That would be crazy!’
On the imminent arrival of their baby, Tom called to his husband in the background and said: ‘Isn’t it right we finished the nursery last night?’ to which Dustin replied: ‘Well, I did!’ Tom then claps back ‘No you didn’t! I helped!’
Asked whether he would try and get his son into diving, Tom said: ‘Come on, diving is brutal. Sport in general is brutal. The day-in, day-out of working hard and training hard. It’s a lot. But whatever he wants to do. He might want to play the trumpet or something, which would be cool!’
Tom and Dustin revealed they were dads-to-be back in early March.
