Is it just us is everyone’s place of work more exciting than our own?
A new study has revealed that 14% of Americans have had sex in their office.
Research has recently shown that LGBTI people find it more difficult to meet a partner at work.
14% of people have had sex at their place of work
Many have said they are more likely to use dating apps outside of work.
But for the ones that do meet other like-minded people, it is likely they will approach that person for sex or a relationship.
EdenFantasys surveyed 2,000 people and found 14% had sex in their place of work.
And they don’t always get away with it either. Of those who’ve had sex at work, 1 in 5 have been caught in the act.
One in 10 people have had sex with their boss
The company also found:
- 92% of people who’ve had an office romance made them more ‘excited’ about work
- Half of those who have had an office romance said it made them more productive
- 70% of those in a workplace romance have hidden their fling from colleagues
- One in 10 have had sex with their boss
- 34% have had sex with their boss to gain favor and climb the ladder at work
- One in 5 workplace romances have cost somebody their jobs
- One in 4 Americans have dated and ended it with a co-worker
- And 60% of all work relationships ends in a breakup within 12 months.
- One in 4 workplace romances end in marriage
- And 34% of workplace romances involve somebody who is already married or engaged to someone else.
Fred Petrenko, of EdenFantasys, said: ‘For many, work is a very stressful environment and sex can be a great stress relief,… we recommend spicing things up with a good sex toy instead.’
