Former adult entertainer Stormy Daniels made a surprise appearance last night at London gay club, G-A-Y.
Every Thursday, the club hosts its weekly, lighthearted ‘Porn Idol’ strip show. A handful of contestants take to the stage for the audience and a panel of judges.
Daniels’ appearance hadn’t been announced ahead of the 1am show. However, the club had been teasing the fact it had arranged a very special surprise guest for several days.
Daniels, 39, joined the judging panel alongside London drag acts Baga Chipz and Sonofatutu, while club owner Jeremy Joseph oversaw proceedings.
‘You forget what she’s going through’
Afterwards, Joseph told GSN about his experience with Daniels backstage.
‘She was quite reserved at first, but as you get to know her, she got nicer and nicer. As you talk to her, you realize everything she’s going through and the way she’s living her life. And you sometimes forget they’re human beings. You forget what she’s going through.’
Stormy Daniels and Trump scandal
Daniels is currently continuing to make headlines after an alleged fling with President Donald Trump in 2006.
It is claimed that Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, ahead of his election to President, paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about her relationship with Trump. What Trump knew of the payment, and where the money came from, is the subject of debate and controversy.
Daniels travelled to the UK two weeks ago to take part in the UK’s version of Celebrity Big Brother.
To the ire of producers of the show, Daniels pulled out at the eleventh hour from taking part. At first it was believed to be down to a row over money, but Daniels has denied this. Producers later said there had been a disagreement over how long she wanted to appear on the show.
A spokesperson for Daniels said: ‘It was over a row with producers. They insisted she conduct herself in a certain way – they attempted to control her and produce a certain result, which she did not feel comfortable with.’
‘We’ll be having her back’
Joseph said that Daniels had not remained in the UK for the past two weeks.
‘She flew in especially for last night. And flew out again.’

The Porn Idol competition had eight contestants who had previously signed-up to take part. Guest judges can also choose additional contestants from the audience. Daniels chose two from the crowd, with one, a woman called Maya, eventually winning the night’s show.
‘The thing I liked most about her was her sense of humour,’ said Joseph about Daniels. ‘I think we’ll be having her back.’
However, one audience member was more critical.
‘She had nothing to say,’ Chris Nelson told GSN. ‘And I don’t mean about Donald Trump, I mean in general. Her comments about the contestants were a load of old nothing. She was probably intimidated by the pure comedy on either side of her – Baga and Tutu.
‘She was clearly there for the money, she didn’t seem interested. And I don’t hold that against her, that’s just the tea. I still love her.’
