Alan Carr has revealed he got married in superstar singer Adele’s back garden – and that she also planned the whole wedding.
The Chatty Man star furthermore says the Hello singer sang live at the ceremony.
‘It was Adele, she planned it – it was in her back garden’ he said.
Alan furthermore added: ‘We’ve known her for ages and when we told her we were getting married she said “Can I please plan the whole day for you?” So she organized everyone. She’s the kindest, sweetest most generous person ever.
‘I can never repay her’
Speaking on The One Show, Alan was of course full of praise and gratitude for his close friend.
‘We go in there and there’s a grand piano with a man playing Ordinary People and then she sang our songs with the first dance. It was absolutely amazing. I can never repay her. She’s a one off. As we all know, she’s just the best.’
News broke of Alan’s wedding back in January, with representatives for the star confirming that he and Paul had jetted to Mexico for their honeymoon.
Paul asked Alan to marry him while the pair were traveling in Indonesia in 2016. The couple have been together for over 10 years.
