DC Comics decided to remove all panels showing Batman’s penis and other nudity from their title Batman: Damned #1.
The issue is part of the company’s new DC Black Label series, a line of mature titles for readers. In this line, all titles feature more adult scenarios and all take place outside of the main DC continuity.
While they’re ceasing all future publications of the panels, there are already 115,000 print copies in circulation
Illustrated by Lee Bemejo, the panels show Bruce Wayne stripping off his Batsuit, with his penis highlighted in the shadows. Plus, there are also some nice booty and thigh shots.

A source told The Hollywood Reporter the panels are being removed because they don’t add to the story.
Regardless, the damage is already done. With the panels both being available in over 100,000 prints and circulated on the internet, they’re easy enough to find.
Seth Meyers also covered the topic on his late night show, further adding to the attention and visibility of the panels.

‘Well, I just have to say I’m his parents aren’t alive to see this,’ Meyers says to audience laughter.
Meyers says a couple more jokes, as he starts to crack himself: ‘As Batman said, “Before you judge, I was fighting Mr. Freeze!”‘
