Being visible as an LGBTQ person or family is a deeply important act of love and resistance.

Happy Pride Month!

Our movement for equality and justice is powerful and we have so much to be proud of this year! Confronted by our opposition, we continue to build unprecedented levels of support for LGBTQ people and our families.

Many of Equality Federation’s state-based member organizations, from One Colorado to Equality VA, fought to preserve hard-won protections and block anti-LGBTQ proposals, perhaps none more exciting than the stunning rejection of the attempt to undo nondiscrimination protections in Anchorage, Alaska.

Will you use our quick form to chip in $3 now to help us continue the wins? We can’t do it without your support.

  • These are challenging times, but together we are strong. There is much work to be done — we need your support to move forward.
  • The Supreme Court will rule on the Masterpiece Cakeshop case soon, and, no matter the decision, it will motivate our opponents to attempt to roll back the clock.
  • Massachusetts is facing a repeal of nondiscrimination protections for transgender people.
And, we need to continue our proactive work until every state has banned conversion therapy and passed comprehensive nondiscrimination protections.

Enjoy this Pride month. Being visible as an LGBTQ person or family is a deeply important act of love and resistance, especially during these trying times.

The road to full equality is long but we’re moving forward. I hope we can count on your support!

In pride,
