GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos called the Biden administration’s planned overhaul of Title IX a “clear and present danger” to female athletes, arguing that protections for transgender athletes would push women out of women’s sports.

DeVos joined female athletes and women’s sports advocates at a press conference in Grand Rapids Monday, June 17, where they urged policy leaders to “take back Title IX and protect women’s sports” as part of a nationwide Our Bodies, Our Sports advocacy tour.
