Lisbeth Salander, the bisexual hacker created by Stieg Larsson, is back on screen in the latest installment of the Millennium saga.
The Girl in the Spider’s Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story sees Emmy winner Claire Foy as the antiheroine.
The Crown’s actress follows in the footsteps of Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara, who have previously portrayed the character.
As fans of the saga might recall, the androgynous, heavily-tattooed Salander is openly bisexual.
In the previous movies, she has relationships with both women and men before falling for journalist Mikael Blomkvist.

The Swedish-American movie is a sequel to David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
The film by director Fede Álvarez is an adaptation of the global bestseller of the same name by David Lagercrantz. Published in 2015, the novel continued the story imagined by Larsson after he passed away in 2004.
A new disturbing trailer has been released to promote the movie.
Lisbeth, played by a chameleonic Foy, and Blomkvist (Sverrir Gudnason) are teaming up again to uncover a dark secret buried in the woman’s past.
This will lead Lisbeth to a much-feared family reunion with her estranged twin sister Camilla, played by Blade Runner 2049’s Sylvia Hoeks.
In the trailer, there is a scene where two women share a kiss. While it’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment that makes really hard to identify the characters, there is a good chance one of them is actually Camilla.
