Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson has come out

Broad City star Abbi Jacobson has revealed she is open to dating women.

The comic actress,  who plays a spoof version of herself in the Comedy Central series, has spoken about her love life.

‘I kind of go both ways; I date men and women,’ she said.

‘They have to be funny, doing something they love.

‘I don’t know – I’ve never really been interviewed about this before.’

Jacobson’s sexuality has been of question to the queer community.

It was rumored she had dated Portlandia actress and Sleater Kinney front-woman Carrie Brownstein.

Abbi Jacobson comes out as bisexual

The vast bulk of the interview focused on Jacobson’s career.

Other than starring, creating, writing for and sometimes directing, Jacobson has other projects.

She is starring in the new Netflix movie called 6 Balloons. Te film, in which she costars with Dave Franco, shows the normally comic actress in a dramatic role.

She is the devoted sister who tries to take care of her relapsed heroin-addicted brother and his child.

A second season of her modern art podcast, titled A Piece of Work, will also be released soon.

In the first season, Jacobson interviewed RuPaul to discuss performance art. The queen repaid the favor by having her and Broad City co-star Illana Glazer’s guest judge stint on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The actress will also be voice acting in the upcoming animated Netflix show , Disenchantmnt, where she’ll be playing an alcoholic medieval princess named Bean.

So does she have time to date?

‘Who knows?’ she said. ‘The world is my oyster.’
