In the tradition of having big stars in a season opener of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Christina Aguilera will guest judge the season ten’s first episode.

Lady Gaga surprised the queens in season nine when she sashayed into the workroom pretending to be another contestant. It went on to become the most viewed episode of Drag Race with one million people in the US tuning in.

Now another Grammy award winner will join RuPaul behind the judging desk. Aguilera taking to Twitter to celebrate the announcement and even managed to start her own hashtag, 

‘It’s showtime!’ she tweeted. ‘Let’s go girls.’

A short video accompanied the tweet that showed her in pink wig belting out an iconic Aguilera big note on the main stage.

Aguilera will be the only guest judge on the opener of season ten.

Everyone wants to be on Drag Race

As Drag Race surges in ratings and popularity, it has attracted a high calibre of guest judges.

In the current season of All Stars 3 some of the celebrity judges include; Vanessa Hudgens, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Shay Mitchell, Chris Colfer, Constance Zimmer, Emma Bunton, Garcelle Beauvais, Nicole Byer, and Nancy Pelosi.
