Colton Haynes addressed his relationship with Jeff Leatham for the first time since the news of their separation.
Last week, TMZ reported the couple split after six months of marriage. Haynes also erased every reference to Leatham on his Instagram account.
Around the same time, Haynes released a new song called Man It Sucks. The song is about a failed romance, following one partner cheating on the other.
Many assumed the song was about Leatham.

Over the weekend, however, Haynes clarified and came to Leatham’s defense.
‘Please stop being mean to him’
The actor took to Twitter and said the song wasn’t about Leatham, but a past relationship.
Jeff would never cheat. He’s an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him. The song I wrote was about a past relationship. ❤
