Pride in London parade is happening this Saturday 7 July. As usual, several Pride in London after parties will welcome marchers at the end of the day for a late night of fun and confetti. Not sure where to go? Gay Star News has put together a handy roundup of the best events in town.
1. Beyoncé Experience at The Grand Clapham
The Grand in Clapham will host the official Pride in London after party on 7 July. Kicking off at 10pm, the event will include body painters, themed cocktails, and confetti for a long night of celebration.
Beyoncé impersonator Aaron Carty will give the audience a taste of a real Beyoncé Experience, performing on stage alongside Pride in London DJs and The Grand’s Dream Team.
Tickets range between £8-10.

2. Sink The Pink: Colour Ball
Sink The Pink will have its own Colour Ball at south London venue Brixton Academy on 7 July. The party organizers have hosted some of the most LGBTI-friendly events throughout the years, but this is set to be their biggest to date.
Expect fancy outfits, a pageant, and some killer lip sync battles. General entry at£35 is now sold out, but you can enter the ballot here for a chance of grabbing last-minute tickets.

3. Queer Me Out & When Love Takes Over
Iconic Leicester Square venue W London is celebrating Pride in London with a series of events. Pride weekend will give Londoners plenty of choices, starting with Queer Me Out on Friday 6 July. A speaker event designed to connect and inspire the LGBTI community in every W destination worldwide.
The panel will be moderated by Glyn Fussell, the mastermind behind the outrageous and supercharged legendary club night Sink the Pink as well as the sell-out Mighty Hoopla festival, which launched to raving success in 2017. Joining Glyn will be Princess Julia, DJ and Culture Correspondent at i-D Magazine. Other speakers will also include Oly Innes, Los Angeles based US Commissioning Editor of Gay Times and creator of the infamous queer party brand Daddy Issues, now a monthly in London and LA, and Paris Lees, transgender feminist, human rights campaigner, fierce model and award-winning journalist.
Following the event, a Q&A and a cocktail reception at the W hotel’s bar and lounge, The Perception.
The Perception will also host the official Glitterbox Pride party When Love Takes Over on 7 July from 4pm to 1am and their weekly Retox Brunch on 8 July. Signature cocktail? A Miss Vanjie, please.

4. The Ivy Soho Brasserie
Not really a Pride in London after party, the Broadwick Street brasserie will have a special brunch on the day of the parade, hosted by some of London’s most popular drag queens.
For Pride week, chefs have added a signature dessert and cocktail to the usual menu. Have a taste of the exclusive pride-inspired dessert, the colorful Strawberry Pride Melting Dome, available from 2 to 8 July. Furthermore, sip a brand new refreshing gin-based cocktail, featuring grapefruit juice, Crème de Rose, and Hibiscus syrup, all served in a glittering golden coupe.

5. London Pride Mint After Party at Studio 88
Lesbian and bisexual party organizers Mint have teamed up with Studio 88 in Soho, just a few minutes away from the women’s stage in Leicester Square, to bring you the best entertainment catered to women. No worries, boy buddies are welcome too.
Head to the studio on 7 July for a happy hour between 5-8pm, grab a bite of their California-inspired menu and dance till late with 11 DJs.

6. Pride Night at G-A-Y
G-A-Y is a Soho institution and going there on pride night is certainly a thing to tick off your bucket list, provided you’re ready for a massive queue. Pop goddesses’ tunes are guaranteed to fill the underground bunker of Heaven in Charing Cross for a party to remember on 7 July.

7. Little Gay Brother x Pride in London
Up for a rave party? These LGBTI performers are bringing the party to South London. The venue for this ‘mega-queer rave’ is Omeara, in Southwark. Head there on Pride night on 7 July and pull off your best fluo outfit.
