Victoria and David Beckham took their four children to lunch with Elton John while on holidays in the south of France.
The Beckhams joined the British singer, 71, and his husband David Furnish, 55, together with their two sons, on Tuesday (28 August) afternoon.
The setting for the lovely gathering was the stunning scenario of the island Île Sainte-Marguerite.
Paparazzi caught the two families leaving La Guérite restaurant, nestled on the rocky cove of the island. The venue is located half a mile off the coast of Cannes, on the French Rivera.
David Beckham was due to appear in court on the day
On the same day, Beckham, 43, was due to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court, a courthouse in the London Borough of Wandsworth, over claims he drove his £200,000 Bentley at 59mph in 40mph west London zone. However, he did not attend in person.
The footballer and the music legend have been friends for years.
Beckham also took to Instagram to share a picture on his Instagram page.
In the caption, Beckham affectionately refers to Elton John as ‘uncle’.
‘Uncle Elton…. We have known each other now for 25 years .. Fun times with each other,’ he wrote, adding a heart-shaped eyes emoji.
