Speculation has swirled over if and when Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia De Rossi might have children.
However, the TV star has addressed her decision not to have children – despite wanting them when she was younger.
‘When I was younger I really wanted to have a baby – I thought I would adopt,’ she says in her latest interview.
The Ellen actress was speaking to Jerry Seinfeld on his Netflix talk show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
She furthermore added: ‘Portia doesn’t like the squealing when they’re in a pool. She doesn’t like that. But she wants more horses.’

Ellen married her wife Portia, who has acted in TV shows Scandal and Arrested Development, in 2008
The Ellen DeGeneres Show host furthermore addressed parenthood in 2016 an interview with Sunday Style.
‘We talked about it…’ she admitted. ‘But we just decided we like our conversations not interrupted and our furniture without sticky grape juice on it.’
