The fiancé of celebrity stylist Michael Mann has launched a crowdfunding pledge following the death of his partner.
Singer-songwriter Tyler Jacob launched the GoFundMe page yesterday, writing: ‘I’m so broken because I cannot afford to give him the funeral that he deserves.’
Michael passed away earlier this week. The cause of Michael’s death is currently unknown, with Tyler confirming to Gay Star News that Michael’s family want to keep the matter private until further notice.
The LA-based creative director of MMC Studios had worked with the likes of Lip Gloss singer Lil Mama and Full Moon singer Brandy.
Tyler furthermore wrote in an Instagram tribute: ‘Words can’t express my gratitude for all of you reaching out to me during the most difficult time in my life.’
He furthermore added: ‘[…] Michael Mann is my fiancé, my world, my energy, my everything and with this shattered heart, the little strength I have in me to ask for help, I’m asking if you could please support the family by donating or sharing this on your social platforms.
‘Anything will help towards giving Michael the funeral he deserves.’
On the GoFundMe page he also writes: ‘I’m begging BEGGING all of you to please help me PLEASE with whatever you can so that he can have he funeral that [the] deserves. Please share this!!! Please.’
‘I don’t understand…. but God does’
Both Brandy and Lil Mama posted tributes to Michael on social media.
Brandy said: ‘I don’t understand…. but God does. Rest In Peace.’
Lil Mama furthermore added: ‘From the moment I first laid eyes on you I fell in love. One of the most captivating spirits I’ve ever met.
‘Our journey together wasn’t perfect but it was worth it. I am in disbelief and pain writing this. Rest in Paradise my friend, I love you!’
