Cara Delevingne has spoken about her sexuality in an interview with Glamour. She experienced same-sex relationships and she is attracted to girls, but she has a reason not to label herself as a gay woman and asks other people not to do so, sexuality is a bigger spectrum than just gay-straight, Cara identifies as sexually fluid. She likes guys too and she does not mind to marry a man one day if she falls in love with him. And no, it does not mean that she would be a liar who pretended to be gay. “It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it. I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle.”

The 90’s classic TV show which follows some kids being sucked into a board game is now modernized, now they get into a video game. They choose their characters, and are immediately thrust into the game in the body of their avatars. The “pretty girl” chooses the body of Professor Shelly Oberon – a cartographer, code-breaker and “curvy genius” played by Jack Black. And s he is in love with her friend, with a boy. Eurovision Song Contest execs are demanding £175,000 from the Ukrainian state broadcaster over a dispute at this year’s contest as they banned Russian participant Julia Samoylova from entering their country because she performed in Crimea. Crimea is annexed by Russia and Ukraine legally forbids entering there without their (Ukrainian) permission. The European Broadcasting Union had attempting to broker a compromise between the two countries, but Russia later announced that it would withdraw from the contest altogether. “As a result of this, attention was drawn away from the competition and the brand reputation of the Eurovision Song Contest was endangered. Therefore the contest’s steering committee … has recommended that [broadcaster] UA:PBC should receive a substantial fine, in line with the rules of the competition,” EBU claimed. Broadcasters commented that govenment banned Samoylova, but government won’t pay fines. Russia was also warned it could face punishment for its actions in provoking the row.

A bill to make Canada’s national anthem gender-neutral has failed even though the PM Justin Trudeau and MPs from both parties were in favour of it.The move would have scrapped the line “True patriot love in all thy sons command,” replacing it with “True patriot love in all of us command”. Introduced by the late Liberal MP Mauril Bélanger, the bill to reform O Canada passed the final House of Commons vote in June by an overwhelming margin of 225 to 74. Despite the bill easily passing the Commons, Conservative Senators have blocked it from becoming law for a year so it is now delayed at least till autumn. Conservative Senator David Wells has told CBC News: “I’m trying to protect the tradition rather than, you know, water it down with a politically correct version that is historically inaccurate. I don’t misrepresent why I’m [using parliamentary stall tactics] … I don’t like this bill, and I will do what I can to ensure it doesn’t pass.” This is despite historians agreeing that the original line was “thou dost in us command” in English version and as for the French one, it has no references to ‘sons’ or ‘daughters’ from the very beginning.

A Christian preacher who abused gay men verbally won’t face hate crime charges for it, it has been announced. Phillip Mattis has been sentenced to 120 hours of community service and ordered to pay £300 in compensation to Troy Appleby-Walker and his husband whom he abused several times.M attis shouts in the video: “Same-sex relationships are wrong. Bestiality is wrong. Homosexuality is wrong. Sexual immorality is wrong. Bestiality is wrong. Come to the cross before it’s too late. Jesus loves you but he doesn’t love your sin.” It is believed that the preacher took aim at the couple because he noticed a rainbow flag waving out of the men’s apartment. Appleby-Walker explained that he was disappointed Mattis had not been charged with a hate crime but relieved that they had some justice and believes that the sentence is “appropriate”.

Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointee Neil Gorsuch is already taking up the mantle of a reliable voice to roll back LGBT equality in court. After a year of blocking President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Republicans forced through Trump’s pick for the role reconsidering the Senate rules to push through his confirmation regardless of the number of votes. During his confirmation hearings, gay Republican groups largely rejected complaints about Trump’s chosen justice Neil Gorsuch, despite equality activists warning that his strict originalist views are dangerous for LGBT and now it is confirmed. Gorsuch penned a dissent against the ruling, arguing against the very basis of LGBT protections under constitutional law. In his dissent, Gorsuch claimed that discriminating against gay parents helps “establish a set of rules designed to ensure that the biological parents of a child are listed on the child’s birth certificate”. He insisted that “rational reasons” exist to exclude same-sex parents from this.

Pride in London has admitted it “misjudged” a series of adverts that focused on support of LGBT community by straight people. A part of the event’s ‘Love Happens Here’ campaign, the posters bore slogans that were criticised for not actually showing pride of being LGBT focusing on straight people instead. They included the messages “I’m a straight man with gay pride”, “My gay friends make me more attractive by association” and “being homophobic is sooo gay”. The latest one is a quite funny oxymoron, actually. The campaigners said that they just invited different artists to express their love to LGBT, no matter whether they are gay or straight themselves: “As part of our theme to celebrate Love Happens Here we asked people, whether LGBT+ or straight, to send their messages of love for Pride. We then asked some wonderful artists to turn some of these messages into a series of posters. It is clear we misjudged the content of some of the messages in this poster series, undermining the individuality, importance and dignity of the LGBT+ community. This was never our intention, and we are genuinely sorry to have played any part in something that appears to devalue our own community and have removed these four images from our campaign.”

The claim comes from Pastor John MacArthur of the Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, a 3,500-seat megachurch which is popular with evangelicals. A gay Christian man asked the pastor whether there was a place n heaven for him as he is gay. And the pastor replied that nobody was gay. To his mind tpeople cannot BE gay, they can only COMMIT a ‘sin’ of homosexuality. And as well as any other ‘sin’, it keeps a person away from heaven and the only way to reach there is to stop doing it. “Are there certain kind of impulses that lead people in that direction? Yes. But I think one of the really deadly aspects of this is to let people define themselves as gay. They are not gay any more than an adulterer is hardwired to be forced by his own nature to commit adultery. Those are all behavioral sins that are condemned in scripture. God didn’t hardwire anybody in such a way that they are not responsible for certain behaviors And so we need to cancel that out of the sin list and welcome them into the kingdom of God, because you can’t do anything else? But I think we do no service to people who are caught in the vicious sins of homosexuality by letting them define themselves by that sin,” the pastor said. And here come the news for him – if a robber stops robbing, he is not a robber anymore, but if a gay man stoops having gay sex and avoids communicating with other men at all, it would not make him even a little bit less gay.

Out bisexual singer said ‘no’ when her record label asked her whether she would like to sing her song about bisexuality with Katy Perry who experienced sexual fluidity as a teen but now identifies as straight.Halsey recorded the haunting break-up song Strangers with Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui who is also bisexual. Halsey is a friend of Katy Perry, she likes her and admires her, she wouldn’t mind to sing with her one day. But not this song. To sing Stangers Halsey needed someone… gayer. “I was thinking to myself, if I want this song to be believable, it needs to be real. So I’m not going to put a girl on the song to sing who’s straight. I’m just not going to do it,” she said. “I just love that Lauren and I are two women who have a mainstream pop presence doing a love song for the LGBT community – it’s unheard of. It’s very rare to see it from a female perspective.” She also touched on bi-erasure when speaking to Vulture, saying that “there’s a lot of bisexual rejection in the LGBT community. “When I’m dating a guy, I’m still bisexual.”

Snow Patrol front man Gary Lightbody was among those Northern Irish people who marched for equality in 2015, and it was so great and joyful day. The musician was very proud to have been born in Northern Ireland. His opinion about Northern Irish people and the issue of equality did not change, but unfortunately the general situation in the region did not change either. “We’re in the States making our new album, so we can’t be there in person to march again for marriage equality, for togetherness, for reason and for love! Everyone in Snow Patrol will be there in spirit. I hope the day is as special (even more special) than 2 years ago and I hope those that should listen to the will of the people do listen. Surely, they must. Surely. One love!” Lghtbody said

Graham Norton, who is gay and who is one half Northern Irish, said he did not expect the people of the region would ever bother about LGBT, but the march in 2015 made him change his mind – people care, people want it, people are ready. Married gay comedian Stephen Fry added: “I send my love to the people of Northern Ireland. Especially all those couples striving and marching for the right to marry and have their love celebrated. Why should loving couples in Northern Ireland be denied this chance of happiness, of equality, enjoyed by people in every other part of these wonderful islands? It doesn’t make sense. Simply put, I want the same joy that I have found to be available to people in Northern Ireland.”
