Former gay porn star Jordan Joplin appeared in court this week charged with the murder of a surgeon last year.
Joplin was first charged with the theft of Garcia’s possessions, but later also charged with his murder.
Joplin allegedly stole two tons of valuables including expensive watches, gold and a coin collection worth as much as $500,000 (£350,000 €400,000), according to a Ketchikan grand jury.
The court in Alaska heard charges against Joplin relating to the 16 March killing.
Joplin denies both claims, pleading not guilty on all counts.
Joplin was known as Zack on Sean Cody, Logan Cruise on Men.com and Bromo, and Rob Stonebridge on Randy Blue. His gay porn appearances are as recent as 2016, reports The Sword.

Missing surgeon
Joplin claims Garcia was his friend, reports KTUU.
According to public records, he visited Garcia in Alaska on 16 March and stayed overnight before going home to Washington.
They planned to catch up again that week at a medical conference in Las Vegas, but the doctor never showed.
Then Joplin phoned Ketchikan police to say he had not heard from Garcia as expected. Police knocked on the door of Garcia’s home but did not enter, as they knew he might be traveling for business at that time.
Joplin then phoned the police again a week later and said he was planning a visit to see Garcia on 27 March and could let them into his house with a spare key.
When police arrived, they found Garcia’s body. Police say Garcia had been dead for about 10 days.
They also said Joplin seemed ‘very aloof’ upon discovering the news of his dead friend.
Police eventually arrested Joplin and transported him to Ketchikan where he is being held on $200,000 (£140,000 €160,000) bail.
After Wednesdays court appearance, the judge rescheduled his trial for November this year.
