What a fabulous pair. | Photo: Twitter @guskenworthy
Adam Rippon isn’t the only Olympic athlete making celebrity friends. Skier Gus Kenworthy recently hung out with RuPaul and shared photos on social media.
It’s not known why the pair crossed paths yet, but does it matter? Look at them!

Call Me By Your Mother, indeed, Gus.
He posted the same photo to Instagram with an equally clever and hilarious caption: ‘Blessed be the fruit(s).’
Many wondered if their fortuitous meeting means Kenworthy will appear on Drag Race. While he wasn’t included on the list of guest judges for Season 10, it doesn’t mean he can’t still show up…
Some people replied with more snark to the photo.

Recently, RuPaul found himself in hot water when he made controversial comments about trans women doing drag.
‘Drag loses its sense of danger and its sense of irony once it’s not men doing it, because at its core it’s a social statement and a big f-you to male-dominated culture,’ he said.
RuPaul since apologized for the comment. He tweeted: ‘I understand and regret the hurt I have caused. The trans community are heroes of our shared LGBTQ movement. You are my teachers.’
Of course, RuPaul isn’t the only celebrity Kenworthy has been rubbing elbows with at events.
Following an Oscars party on Sunday (4 March), Kenworthy and his boyfriend, Matt Wilkas, posted a ‘missed connections’ message on Instagram to Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef.
