Singer Halsey recently took to Twitter to share her thoughts on anti-LGBTI people at her concerts. And she wasn’t having any of it.

Add this to the long list of reasons to stan Halsey — beyond everything else like her political poetry and standing up for the bisexual community.

The tweet began with Halsey sharing that people come to her concerts with ‘anti-LGBT religious propaganda’. That’s confusing in and of itself, but let’s move on to her response.

‘I feel like I’ve done enough good in the world that God’s gonna forgive me for eating some pussy.’

ICONIC.

Using her voice for good

The award-winning singer, who is openly bisexual, has never been afraid of speaking her mind.

When she was 17, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after a suicide attempt. Since gaining a bigger and bigger platform, she has always been vocal about mental health and advocacy.

Her aforementioned political poem occurred at this year’s Women’s March. To more than 200,000 people in New York City, Halsey read a five-minute poem titled A Story Like Mine.

‘Listen, and then yell at the top of your lungs, be a voice for all those who have prisoner tongues,’ she read. ‘What do you mean this happened to me? You can’t put your hands on me. You don’t know what my body has been through. I’m supposed to be safe now. I’ve earned it.’
