The world’s biggest beauty pageant for trans women, Miss International Queen, has just wrapped up for 2018 and it was breathtaking.

Competitors from 26 countries around the world descended on Pattaya, Thailand to compete for the coveted crown.

The beauty pageant was started 13 years ago to raise awareness about transgender issues.

Competitors battled it out in traditional beauty pageant categories such as, talent, swimwear, best national costume and evening gown.

And the beauty pageant winner is…

The winner was 27-year-old singer, Nguyen Huong Giang, from Vietnam. Australia and Thailand were crowned first and second runner-up respectively.

Nguyen also won in the Best Introductory Video and Talent category.

Amelia Vega from Honduras was named Miss Congeniality with Indonesia’s Dinda Syarif winning for best national costume. Her 30kg (66 pounds) costume, called Mustika Kelana, represented dance masks of Cirebon on the island of Java.

The Best in Evening Gown went to Venezuela’s Michel Epalaza Betancourt for her resplendent Disney-like gown.

Izabelle Coimbra from Brazil won the Most Photogenic category with her dazzling smile.
