Queer Eye will air on 15 June

Netflix’s Queer Eye is back, and we have got a sneak preview at season 2.

This time the Fab Five will be making over a more diverse group of heroes than ever before.

They will be tackling a lady for the first time, as well as a transgender man.

Queer Eye will have eight more episodes, again based in Atlanta and around Georgia.

Antony Porowski (Food and Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Karamo Brown (Culture), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming) and Tan France (Fashion) are all returning.

The news came via the show’s Twitter account and an adorable video of the Fab 5 ‘texting’ about the new season.

The first season only aired earlier this year in February. This is possibly one of the shortest waits ever for a new season of a show.

It consisted of eight episodes, which quickly gained acclaim from critics and fans alike. People loved the new diversity and tone of the show, which steeped itself in positivity and acceptance.

One of the reasons the show is coming back so soon is because the cast and crew filmed the second season right at the tail end of season one.

And because people love it so much.

The excitement is real

It’s been 15 years since the Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was on television.

While some were suspicious of the show being rebooted for 2018, it has been one of Netflix’s biggest hits.

In an interview with Gay Star News, Brown has revealed what he thought of his Fab Five when he first met them.

‘I thought Jonathan was one of the most handsome and funniest men I’ve ever seen in my life,’ he said.

‘Tan had the brightest smile and warmest energy. I thought I had met my white twin when I met Bobby… he is a mastermind and a hard worker.

‘And I thought Antoni had one of the kindest and most gentle souls. To be honest I thought I had met four guys who would be my best friends for life.’
