If you’ve already watched Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again more times than you’re ready to admit, we have some good news for you.
Björn Ulvaeus’s Mamma Mia! The Party will make your totally legitimate Abba obsession even worse – or better.
The event is an immersive dining experience loosely based on the hit Abba musical Mamma Mia!, currently at the Novello Theatre in London.
Expect ouzo and Greek food and don’t even try to resist the karaoke while dancing on table tops.
Here We Go Again
This is the second, and decisive, attempt to bring the event to London.
The party, in fact, was already set to come to the UK capital last year. The location for the event was, of course, Waterloo.
However, while all the dancing queens out there were already polishing their shoes, the residents weren’t equally happy.
They complained at the idea of having hundreds taking to the streets looking for a man after midnight. So the whole plan was postponed. Until now.
Mamma Mia! is coming to The O2
The location might not be as evocative as the previous one, but it will guarantee that you can sing along all night without disturbing the neighbors.
A part of the O2 Arena will be Nikos Taverna for the night, a copy of the same already in full swing in Stockholm.
Save your Money! Money! Money! as tickets will go on sale this fall for a run starting next spring.
