Taking place on the breathtaking island off the south coast of England, Isle of Wight Pride will be the only Pride festival in the world on a beach.

Locals and tourists alike will party for a whole day of music and entertainment on Ryde beach on 21 July.

Now in its second year, IOW Pride will incorporate UK Pride in the celebrations for the LGBTI community.

Conchita will headline Isle of Wight Pride

The main stage will host some of the most popular LGBTI artists, such as headliner Conchita. The Austrian singer will perform her hits, including Rise Like A Phoenix, which secured her the win in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.

‘I am so excited to be coming to Isle of Wight Pride, this year’s UK Pride. I had such a warm welcome on Pride in London’s main stage in 2014, and the idea of performing at the only Pride on a beach is so exciting,’ said Conchita.

‘Isle of Wight Pride puts LGBTI human rights at the center of what they do. We all have work to do to increase awareness for those less fortunate than ourselves.’

Furthermore, DJ Gok Wan, Italian dance group Livin’ Joy and Liverpool cabaret performer Danny Beard will join her on stage.

Simon Altham at cottages.com said: ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring Isle of Wight Pride and are very much looking forward to being part of a fantastic event.’

Matt Bundy at IOW Pride added: ‘We are really pleased to have the support of cottages.com. Our beautiful Island plays host to some of the most amazing scenery and places to visit and not to mention top festivals and world-class events.

He also said: ‘We truly believe that the cottages.com commitment to providing a fully inclusive and caring culture within its organization and throughout its properties makes this the perfect fit for our fully inclusive and family-friendly event.’
