Queer actor Keiynan Lonsdale isn’t afraid to dress however he wants, since coming out as queer last year.

But it seems not everyone approves of his recent fashion choices.

He recently wore a dress to the MTV Awards earlier this month, as well as a sexy pirate outfit to the GLAAD Media Awards.

As a result, one homophobic troll took to Twitter to express his disgust.

He tweeted: ‘dude you gotta stop wearing dresses..Come on!!!!’

And then Keiynan quote-tweeted it with the best response. The Flash star clapped back: ‘Dude you gotta stop tweeting me about it & just go try one on yourself.’

He added: ‘It’s only a piece of clothing & it’s fun 🙂 Also allows the balls to breathe and therefore will chill ya out.’

In response to the post, Lonsdale’s followers responded in awe. One Twitter user replied: ‘omg we love a polite burn.’

Another wrote: ‘Keiynan I couldn’t care less what you wear. As long as you’re comfortable that is all that matters.’

Then the original tweeter responded to his public dragging with: ‘Funny enough 99% of pple who support u on the dress thing are girls.’

And one fan clapped back: ‘Funny enough 100% of the the people don’t care what you think…’

Keiynan Lonsdale wins big

Lonsdale won the award for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards on 19 June.

When accepting the award, he said in a speech: ‘I just want to say to every kid: You can live your dreams and wear dresses; you can live your dreams and kiss the one that you love no matter what gender they are.’

He then went on to say: ‘You can live your dreams and you can believe in magic; you can live your dreams, and you can be yourself.’

Lonsdale accepted the award while wearing an etheral white dress, and ombre long gold coat. He sported a gold tiara on his forehead, over his bleached blonde hair.

The crowd cheered when Lonsdale gestured to himself while saying ‘you can live your dreams and wear dresses’.
