Singer Kelly Clarkson officially got the greenlight for her daytime talk show.

TV network NBC bought The Kelly Clarkson Show for 11 stations across the United States. Less than two months ago, Clarkson filmed a pilot for the show before shopping it to various networks.

The 11 stations include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, Boston, Hartford and Washington, D.C.

‘I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back  to communities/organizations,’ Clarkson said in a statement.

‘Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!’

She will also be executive producing the series alongside husband Brandon Blackstock.

NBC described the series as a ‘weekday brunch party’. There will be celebrity guests, games, emotional stories, and more.

This isn’t Clarkson’s only television gig, either. This upcoming TV season, she’s returning as a coach on NBC’s 15th season of The Voice. She will also remain on for the 16th season airing in the spring.

Finally, fans will be able to see her perform live when she hits the ground for a US tour promoting her eighth studio album, Meaning of Life, next year.

The Kelly Clarkson Show will bow next fall and replace the Steve Harvey talk show. Clarkson’s series will air right before Ellen DeGeneres’ long-running and popular daytime talk show.
