Former Glee actor Kevin McHale decided it was time for a change.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the out performer shared his physical transformation and the photos to go along with it.
Over the past 12 weeks, he hit the gym and nutrition. The end results concluded with five pounds of muscle, went from 16 percent body fat to 7.8 percent, and gained some abs.

McHale, 30, described himself as ‘skinny fat’ to the magazine.
‘I had been working through an intestine and digestion issue that was eluding diagnosis and that really took a toll on me,’ he said.
‘I was constantly in pain. I had tried so many different elimination diets — nothing was working.’
He further explained he was ‘feeling miserable’. It was a matter of health, rather than body shame and believing there is a ‘correct’ type of body.
Then he started working out at Ultimate Performance, a gym in Los Angeles, with a trainer named Eddie.
‘Eddie pushed me to the point of failure, conditioning me to be comfortable with that, knowing that I could push myself harder than I thought I could,’ he explained.
McHale also tracked his eating and other habits.
‘Knowing if I had a proper night’s sleep would directly correlate with how I was training and eating obviously, but when you track it for three months you can see trends and patterns — I loved it.’
On Instagram, he shared a photo of the new look.
‘[Before,] I felt bad about my body,’ he shared. ‘When you’re investing your time and energy into yourself in this way, it changes so much of your life.’
