Kim Cattrall to Sarah Jessica Parker: ‘Stop exploiting our tragedy’

Written by gaytourism

Kim Cattrall (aka Samantha Jones from Sex and the City) just sent a savage message to her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

On 30 January, Cattrall took to Twitter to say her brother Chris was missing. She appealed to anyone for information on his disappearance.

Then on 4 February, the Sex and the City star announced Chris ‘unexpectedly passed away.’ The cause of death is not yet known.

When Sarah Jessica Parker heard of the news, she offered her condolences, even though she is no longer on speaking terms with Cattrall.

She told Entertainment tonight: ‘If somebody in your life, whether you’re in touch with them or not, [is] suffering for any reason, it’s involuntary that you want to convey condolences or sadness or just let someone know you’re thinking about them.’

Parker also offered her condolences in an interview with Extra: ‘We all send her our love and condolences and grant her the privacy that she’s asked for.’

‘You are not my family’

But it seems this rubbed Cattrall up the wrong way.

Posting to Instagram, she wrote: ‘My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?”

‘Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already)

‘You are not my family.

‘You are not my friend.

‘So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,’ she said.

Cattrall also posted a link to a New York Post article about how the main Sex and the City cast fell apart.

Kim Cattrall previously posted another message on Instagram: ‘I would like to thank my fans, friends and my Sex and the City colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the past 72 hours.’
