Yes, the pop diva is back with new music and a new sound on her new album, Golden. And we can’t wait.
She’s just played an exclusive gig showcasing new music in her native Australia – and performed a jaw dropping cover of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s 1983 classic Islands In The Stream.

Golden is Kylie’s most upfront and personal record yet, stripping back her bubbly pop roots for a bare-all country feel.
Recorded in Nashville, the home of country music, the influence of the genre has rubbed off on the new album, proving once again that our heroine loves a good musical reincarnation.
‘Of course there’s songs about heartbreak. There’s songs about falling in love, looking for love, lost love … That’s the basis,’ she emotionally told 60 Minutes on Sunday (25 March).
‘The first few months of writing were really therapeutic, just getting stuff off my chest,’ she told Karl Stefanovic.
‘I’d been through a bit of a rotten time and I just wanted to be truthful to myself.’
In February, she had discussed how she suffered a nervous breakdown in 2017 after splitting from her fiance.
The Dancing singer was engaged to Joshua Sasse, but broke it off in early 2017.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, Kylie admits she was ‘broken’ by the split. She also reveals she jetted off to Thailand with two girlfriends to: ‘reclaim myself and get strong and get going.’
Golden is released on 6th April through Darenote Limited/ Sony BMG.
