LGBTQ community members and allies are invited to a Presidential Election Viewing Party on Nov. 5 at Splash Modesto, a video dance bar.
The event is hosted by CalPride Stanislaus and will run from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 5. It intends to provide an inclusive space for all, regardless of political affiliation, to watch election results and celebrate community.
Guests can expect an evening filled with activities, including a trivia competition with prizes, music and a live stream of up-to-the-minute election results.
“We understand that election nights can bring heightened emotions, and our goal is to create a space where everyone feels safe and supported,” said Roman Scanlon, executive director of CalPride Stanislaus, in a press release. “Our community deserves a place where they can be together and feel empowered, no matter the political landscape.”
