LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– An LGBTQ thrift store has opened its doors in Lancaster County.
Now open along East Chestnut Street is The Loop Thrift. Everything that is sold in the main room of the store is $5 and that money goes towards the Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition.
The community feedback so far is reassuring, founder Kater Farbos said.
“Overwhelmingly positive,” Farbo said. “People are so excited. When I talk to people out and about their eyes light up. They’re excited to have a place hyperlocal that they can donate and shop at. A place that is welcoming and creative.”
