It was the biggest night in fashion on Monday night as swanky A-listers took the Met Gala red carpet in their finest. The yearly event is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute and with that comes a the new exhibit: “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”.
With a new exhibit, comes the dress code for the 2024 Met Gala which was “The Garden of Time”. As an exclusive roster of celebrity guests graced the red carpet. Met Gala vets like Zendaya and Jennifer Lopez showed up and showed out (Zendaya did twice!) while LGTBQ stars led the charge with their sartorial excellence.
Of the LGTBQ attendees were Cynthia Erivo, Colman Domingo, Andrew Scott, Alex Newell, Cole Escola, Janelle Monae, Jonathan Groff, Cara Delevingne, Lily Gladstone, Lil Nas X, Dan Levy, Sarah Paulson, Lena Waithe, Queen Latifah, Eboni Nichols, Jonathan Bailey, Sam Smith, and Christian Cowan.
