A man in Columbus, Ohio, was arrested after he threatened to kill scores of people at a local gay bar on social media.

According to police reports, Me’Shach Israel-Miller, 27, was talking to Montrese Hollar, who performs in drag as Dashe Desmond Rose, on dating app Grindr.

But according to Hollar, Miller then threatened he would murder ’85 faggots at a gay club’.

Hollar took a screenshot of the exchange before forwarding it to the authorities.

‘His response… was completely off the wall,’ said Hollar.

‘When he mentioned 85 [people] in my community—I’ve been an activist in my community since I was a teenager, and I just couldn’t let that go by’

However, Hollar said that he is far from a hero.

‘I’m just a member of the community who doesn’t stand for bullying or the treat of violence.’

Daniel Emerson, a manager at nearby Union Cafe said the community was on a knife edge.

‘It was probably one of the scariest weekends ever knowing there was someone out there who dislike us so much that they wanted to kill us,’ he told NBC 4 News.

Police reportedly tracked Miller down using the app.

Miller has been charged with inducing panic and aggravated menacing.

Additionally, prosecutors are considering classifying the incident as a hate crime.

Last week, a man was arrested for threatening door staff with a handgun at a gay bar in North Carolina.
