Democratic U.S. Sens. John Fetterman and Bob Casey’s controversial decision to pull a funding request for an LGBTQ center in Philadelphia after a right-wing social media account claimed that sexual kink parties are held there continues to reverberate.
Following the cancellation of the $1 million funding request for the William Way Community Center on Wednesday, one LGBTQ leader called the decision a “rash overreaction” and “so goofy,” according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
