Pa. gets ‘C’ ranking for human rights, environment for LGBTQ people

When it comes to ensuring human rights and a safe, accepting environment for the LGBTQ community Pennsylvania doesn’t rank among the worst states in the nation, but neither does it land among the top tier.

That is according to a survey just released by the Franklin & Marshall College Global Barometers LGBTQI+ Perception Index project, which measures the human rights lived realities of LGBTQ people across the U.S. and the world.
