Canadian rapper Socalled said he celebrated his 40th birthday by making gay porn.
The openly gay star claimed that instead of a mid-life crisis, he wanted a ‘mid-life celebration’. And that celebration involved porn.

The star realized his parents were out of town for a month, so he wrote a script with the house as the setting. They’ve now been told, and apparently it’s ‘still sinking in’ for his dad.
The 40-year-old recruited two porn stars for the dad-upsettingly-named film ‘The Housesitter’: Valentin Braun, to play the love interest, and River Wilson, as the main character.
A chance porn meeting
In an interview with Vice, the artist, real name Josh Dolgin, revealed that he met Wilson on Grindr: ‘We went out to a movie together and we really connected.
‘And we both felt like it’d be a great idea to make a porn movie together. Not just any porn movie, but one that looks beautiful, in which the images have some integrity.
‘I think people who make pornography have a responsibility.’
Wilson is the co-producer and co-star of the film.
The porn is arty and sexy, according to the rapper. In one scene, the two stars are playing chess, before having sex in front of the fireplace. Then the two are in a dream sequence, having sex in the snow.
He added: ‘I don’t think of this as a mid-life crisis movie, I see it as a mid-life celebration. I love sex and I love great photography and film, so this is a combination of the two.’
Well, it’s better than a Ferrari.
