Reykjavik Pride wrapped up this weekend (7-12 August) for another super cool year of rainbow-filled celebrations.
The Pride parade kicked off at 2pm yesterday (11 August) and started at the intersection of Sæbraut and Faxastígur.
The parade route then snaked through Kalkofnsvegur, Lækjargata, and Fríkirkjuvegur, finishing at Sóleyjargata near Hljómskálagarður Park.
After the parade, there was a huge outdoor concert, followed by a Pride party in the evening.
Present at the outdoor concert was Icelandic pop singer Páll Óskar. As he was singing, back up dancers shot canons of confetti into the crowd.
He later took to Instagram to wish everyone a happy Reykjavik Pride.
He wrote: ‘Thank you to everyone who does not let sexuality, skin color or ethnicity block love.’
Also present during the outdoor concert was the Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrín Jakobsdóttir.

Reykjavik Pride also made headlines this week for a bin encouraging people to discard of their homophobia, sexism and racism.
The markings, which appear to be stickered on the city’s black bins, can be found on waste containers across the capital.
Today marks the last day of celebrations, with the Family Rainbow Festival.
So, without further ado, enjoy the colorful photos of Reykjavik Pride:
