RuPaul’s no stranger to throwing it back to her past.
In fact, the host of Drag Race is always keen to share photos from her lifetime of drag.
On Friday (21 September), RuPaul wanted to celebrate National New York Day in style.
So she posted a photo of herself wearing a cowboy hat, white halter neck top and tiny little red and white short shorts. In the background, you can see the New York skyline.
She captioned the photo: ‘I love New York!’

RuPaul makes Emmy history
Earlier this week, RuPaul made Emmy history by winning the Emmy for Best Reality Competition Series. This follows RuPaul winning the Emmy for best host of a reality competition series earlier in the month.
This is the first time one show has scooped both awards in the reality category in the same year.
‘This is so lovely,’ she said, while accepting the award. ‘To the Academy, this is so lovely; we are so happy to present this show.’

RuPaul is also due to release a new Christmas album in October.
The RPDR judge confirmed the news on Instagram, saying in a caption: ‘Finished recording my 3rd Christmas album. Debuts in October!’
