Ryan Garcia went into an anti-LGBTQ tirade on X on Friday night while watching the opening ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The highly controversial boxing superstar, who is currently suspended for a year after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug, attacked the decision to include LGBTQ music and pop culture performers during the opening ceremony.
“Wtf is this gay s–t [sic],” Garcia posted on X in response to a video from the opening ceremony.
“F–k the Olympics boycott it for the disrespect of Jesus Christ,” Garcia followed up with his next post.

Garcia, 25, also responded to an anti-Semitic post that claimed the “organizer of the 2024 Paris Olympics with all of it’s satanic, masonic LGBTQ imagery is… Jewish,” with an image of Thomas Jolly, the artistic director for the opening ceremony.
“F–k you,” Garcia responded while including a slur for a gay person.

He came in over 3 pounds overweight for his highly-anticipated bout against Devin Haney in April, losing money and the chance to win Haney’s WBC lightweight title.
It later was announced that he tested positive for Ostarine, a performance-enhancing drug, before the fight, and his win — a thrilling upset in which he knocked Haney down three times and won by majority decision — was changed to a no-contest.
In addition to his suspension, Garcia also forfeited his $1.2 million purse and was fined $10,000, according to ESPN.

In June, Garcia was arrested for allegedly vandalizing the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, and earlier this month was charged with one misdemeanor count of vandalism.
The WBC also expelled Garcia earlier this month after the latter went on a racist rant while speaking on an X Spaces.
Garcia claimed that he would go to rehab for alcohol and drug abuse, but there is no evidence he has done so.
Golden Boy Promotions, Garcia’s promotional company led by boxing icon Oscar De La Hoya, did not respond to a request for comment.
