Singer Sam Smith celebrates his 26th birthday tomorrow, 19 May. But he’s already enjoying presents and love from the people closest to him.

According to Instagram, Smith’s boyfriend, Brandon Flynn, commissioned some very… interesting art as a birthday present.

Allen Cutler is an artist who works with needlepoint and embroidery to manifest his creations. The catch? They’re all explicit, typically depicting naked man with some sort of fantasy twist. Some have horns and tails, others wear lion masks.

Here’s Smith posing with his new artwork and looking very pleased.

Cutler wrote in the caption: ‘Sam Smith with his birthday gift from Brandon. It makes me happy to see how happy he is in this picture.’

The happy couple still going strong

Smith and Flynn were first spotted together in October.

Since then, they’ve gone Instagram official and shared lovely posts about one another.

Clearly, Flynn knows Smith’s taste in art and presents.
