A drag queen surprised a series of LGBTI heroes with Pink Lady apples yesterday (25 April).

Cheddar Gorgeous rocked up in various locations around Manchester in the UK dressed head to toe in a stunning pink feathered outfit, complete with an apple headdress.

Teaming up with Pink Lady and Gay Star News, she visited Paul Martin chief executive of the LGBT Foundation, Lewis Harrison of marketing and advertising agency TRO and then restaurant managers Frazer Cullen, Andrew Taberner and Glen McDowell.

In each video, Cheddar Gorgeous walks in with carnival-inspired Viva Brazil girls and a confetti canon.

In the video with Lewis, he throws the apples around the office to colleagues. This all happens while the Viva Brazil girls dance away in the background.

Then in the last video, two of the winners get up and dance along with the girls to the drum beats.

The event is part of Digital Pride – a week long festival hosted by Gay Star News. The event is aimed at people who cannot experience a physical Pride parade. It features various panel discussions, videos and articles around topics like religion, fashion, health and LGBTI rights around the world.

Pink Lady is a proud partner of Gay Star News. Last year, they hosted a dance routine at the London Southbank.

The apple brand also added rainbow colors to the stickers during Pride season last year.
