Well, Swift has finally broken her silence on Instagram, announcing she will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this year.

She explained the US needs a “warrior” to defend its rights and consequently, believes Harris is the one to keep the nation in good hands. Swift called Harris a “gifted leader” and championed calm over chaos. She also threw a high-five to Walz for his efforts on LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights, and urged her US fans to do their homework and make informed choices. The “childless cat lady” concluded her message with the sage advice.

Swift’s political stance follows quite the online drama involving Brittany Mahomes. However, her declaration killed two birds with a stone, clearly showing her political leanings while also giving a direct answer to the flak she had been catching.
