CNBC, the world leader in business news, has long been a supporter of GLAAD’s mission to create a better world and lead in creating possibility models for LGBTQ youth both in front of and behind the camera.
Today, in honor of #SpiritDay, the network went purple for the 15th year in a row!
CNBC also went global, turning its logo, both on broadcast and across digital purple, with on-air talent around the U.S., Europe and Asia wearing purple in support of LGBTQ youth in a united stand against bullying in all its forms.
“CNBC is proud to participate in Spirit Day for the 15th year running to show LGBTQ+ youth they are seen, supported and valued,” said Ryan Ruggiero, Senior Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for NBCUniversal News Group.
“Taking a stand against bullying is essential to fostering a more inclusive and empowering future for all.”
