Beyoncé and Jay-Z are continuing their On the Run II tour and they had some pretty big fans in the audience on Saturday (28 July) night — the Obamas.

Other fans in the audience caught sight of the former President and First Lady dancing in a private box. They looked like they were having the time of their life in the nation’s capitol.

It’s also not the first Beyoncé and Jay-Z concert Michelle Obama has been seen living her life best.

Just a couple weeks ago, Michelle also attended a stop on the couple’s tour in Paris. At that show, she was partying it up with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson.

A friendship through thick and thin

The Obamas’ relationship to Beyoncé and Jay-Z goes back several years. The singers supported Barack Obama in his 2008 presidential campaign, and once more in 2012.

At the 2009 Inaugural Ball, Beyoncé sang At Last for the President and First Lady’s first dance.

When Barack Obama was re-elected in 2012, Beyoncé sang the national anthem at his inauguration.

It really is the little things, sometimes, especially to start the week off with a smile.
