These 31 pictures of Sitges Pride are smoking hot

Sitges Pride is an institution for the LGBTI community. Its legendary parties, in fact, are one of a kind thanks to the incredibly nice weather and the stunning location.

Notably one of the most famous gay-friendly destinations in Europe, the city in southern Spain celebrated equality over the weekend with a series of pool parties and the annual parade.

Stronger Together

This year’s theme was Stronger Together. Lots of muscular shirtless gay men, drag queens in terrific outfits, rainbow families, allies and other members of the LGBTI community gathered in the sunny Saint Tropez of Spain to party.

Locals, tourists and 20 floats paraded through the sunny streets of Sitges for a whole day of unapologetic fiesta yesterday (17 June). Notably, 20,000 marchers took Paseo de la Ribera: to put that into perspective, Sitges only has 28,500 inhabitants.

A gay-friendly hub

Sitges is only thirty minutes from Barcelona and has the most incredible beaches, including a gay-friendly nudist one, Playa del Muerto. Nightlife, however, is great, too. The town boasts many LGBTI hotspots, such as the first-ever gay bar in Spain, Comodin. The club still operates today, hosting drag shows every night during summer.

Moreover, Comodin Show kicked off the stage program every evening during Pride. Bunker and Organic, two of the other most iconic gay clubs in town, were the epicenter of night entertainment, hosting a few night parties to remember.
