The trailer has been revealed for Kevin Spacey’s first film since he was accused last year of historic sexual assault by multiple men.

The actor, who has won two Oscars, will play a gay man in the upcoming drama Billionaire Boys Club.

Spacey lost his job on the Netflix original series House of Cards last October, after actor Anthony Rapp alleged he made a sexual advance towards him when he was 14 in 1986.

In a much-criticized response and apology, Spacey also came out as a gay man.

Rapp’s allegations led to several other men coming forward with similar claims about Spacey.

The plot of Billionaire Boys Club, based on a true story, revolves around a group of wealthy young men in 80s LA who explore group con artistry.

The movie will costar Ansel Elgort, of course famed for his role in romantic teen drama The Fault In Our Stars.

American Horror Story’s Emma Roberts also appears, as does War Horse’s Jeremy Irvine.

Furthermore, English actor Cary Elwes will make an appearance playing openly gay pop artist Andy Warhol.

‘I’m from Wall Street. Do you really think people get rich playing by the rules?’

In the trailer, Spacey’s character Ron Levin can be seen imparting get-rich-quick advice to the group, known as the BBC, saying: ‘I’m from Wall Street. Do you really think people get rich playing by the rules?’

Billionaire Boys Club will be released in the US on 17 August. It will be directed by John Cox.
