Whoopi Goldberg had the best response to a Trump supporter accusing her of having Trump Derangement Syndrome.
President Donald Trump tweeted on Wednesday (20 July) about the term in response to his relationship with Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
It’s a ‘mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason,’ reports CNN.
So the panel of The View invited Trump supporter and FOX host Jeanine Pirro on the show to discuss it.
The episode aired yesterday (19 July) and a short clip surfaced online of the exchange.
Whoopi Goldberg: ‘I’ve never seen anybody whip up such hate’
In the panel discussion, Pirro accuses Goldberg of having the syndrome.
And Whoopi claps back with the perfect response.
‘Did you just point at me?’ Whoopi asks. ‘I don’t have Trump Derangement… let me tell you what I have.
‘I’m tired of people starting a conversation with “Mexicans are liars and rapists”.
‘Listen – I’m 62 years old [and] there have been a lot of people in Office that I didn’t agree with but I have never, ever seen anything like this.
‘I’ve never seen anybody whip up such hate [and] I’ve never seen anybody be so dismissive.
‘What I suffer from is the inability to figure out how to fix this – that’s my issue,’ he said.

Pirro responds: ‘You know what I think is horrible? When people who shouldn’t be here ending up murdering the children of American citizens.’
Whoopi claps back: ‘You know what’s horrible? When the president of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people.’
She cuts the conversation short and says: ‘Say goodbye! I’m done.’
